ForYou Studio is a San Francisco–based photography and creative studio founded and led by Starling, Founder + CEO, photographer, and creative director.
Starling’s approach is intuitive, detail-driven, and deeply collaborative. Her creative perspective has been shaped by decades of experience across photography, modeling, movement, yoga, fitness, and the creative arts.
Starling knows that creating a strong photograph involves more than lighting and technical execution. It requires trust, communication, direction, and the ability to recognize what makes someone compelling as an individual.

For more than two decades, movement has been an integral part of both her personal and professional life. That experience gives her an unusually developed understanding of form, alignment, composition, and the way a body communicates through space. She brings that awareness behind the camera, allowing her to recognize subtle details in posture, gesture, expression, and movement that can completely transform an image.
Her background in modeling gives her another perspective: she understands what it feels like to be on the other side of the lens.
Working with individuals, artists, businesses, movement professionals, athletes, wellness leaders, and creative teams. Every project begins with the person, idea, or brand in front of her. From there, the process becomes collaborative—balancing clear creative direction with enough freedom for unexpected and authentic moments to emerge.
